You can delete your Boopsee account and everything in it at any time. There are two ways to do it: from inside the app, which is immediate, or by email, which is there for when you have already uninstalled.
Deletion starts straight away and is permanent. There is no waiting period and no way to undo it, so export or screenshot anything you want to keep before you tap.
If you no longer have the app installed, email hello@boopsee.com from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm it is you, delete everything, and reply to let you know it is done. We aim to respond within 30 days and usually take a lot less.
One row in a deletion log, holding three things: the internal ID your account had, the date the deletion was requested, and whether it finished successfully. It contains no name, no email address, no pet information and no health data.
We keep that row indefinitely. It is what lets us prove a deletion was carried out if it is ever questioned, and it cannot be used to rebuild anything about you or your pet.
Crash reports collected by Firebase Crashlytics are technical records of the app failing, are not tied to your pet data, and expire on Google's own schedule.
