Boopsee ("we", "us") is a pet health companion app for dogs and cats, operated from India. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: your data is used only to run the app for you — we don't sell it, and we don't show ads.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage), on Google Cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Some data (such as recent logs) is also cached locally on your device so the app works offline.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app — Google (Firebase and the Gemini API), acting as our data processors — or if required by law.
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account in the app; this permanently deletes your account, pet profiles, logs, uploaded documents, and chat history. We keep only a minimal record that a deletion was performed (not your pet or health data), for audit purposes. You can also email us to request deletion.
Boopsee is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact us at the address below and we will honor these requests.
If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new effective date above.
